Shobeir is seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years of
experience in management, software engineering and extensive professional experience between
a variety of software technologies like AI, IOT, Big data and Blockchain.
Saeed is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with 6+ years of experience in building, and supporting successful businesses. Saeed entered the healthcare industry by founding Canada's leading mental health platform, TranQool – which has since been acquired by HumanaCare.
He has worked in the specialty pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years.
Currently leads Patient Support Programs strategy and commercialization for Oncology
molecules. In his previous roles in the industry, Nav has managed specialty pharmacy,
patient support programs, Digital Health initiatives , and specialty distributions. He was
also a co-founder of a CRO company. He has a proven track record in complex analytical
solutions. Nav has a background in Electrical Engineering and post-graduate in International
Business and recently completed the Artificial Intelligence Strategies program from Kellogg
School of Management. Nav is extremely passionate about providing quality care to patients
and their caregivers. He enjoys travelling, especially by road. So far, he has travelled
across Canada and a few countries in Europe.
Jeff Dennis is Fasken Martineau’s Entrepreneur in Residence. He is a lawyer, serial
entrepreneur, best-selling author and public speaker. As Fasken’s EIR, he works
with fast growth entrepreneurial companies assisting them with commercialization
strategy and finance and, of course, their legal requirements.
Jeff co-founded the Toronto Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, now
called the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). Through his association with EO and
the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, he co-authored his book, Lessons from the
Edge, in which entrepreneurs share their worst mistakes in business and the
lessons that they learned.
Jeff has become a sought after public speaker by entrepreneurial groups around the
world. His most exotic audience was the EO chapter in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in economics at Brown University and his law
degree at the University of Western Ontario. He is a graduate of both the “Birthing of
Giants” executive education program at MIT and the Directors’ Education Program
of the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Rotman School of Business at the
University of Toronto and was awarded his ICD.D certification.

Laurence has 20 years of experience building a successful sales and

position of Vice President of Operations at Maquet Canada where she was responsible for all
sales and marketing operations, along with Strategic Relationships.
